West Ham face a crucial few months ahead as the Hammers seek to retain their Premier League status and bolster the squad significantly ahead of next season, where David Moyes will hope for a major upturn in form.
The Hammers sit just two points above the relegation zone heading into the final eight games of the season and have one of their biggest games in recent years after the international break against Southampton, the side just below them in the table.
Moyes has made no secret of his desire to bolster his midfield ranks but has encountered problems in the market, missing out on Jonjo Shelvey, Joe Allen and Leander Dendoncker in January, whilst it’s understood Inter Milan loanee Joao Mario is a target for a permanent transfer.
