The 31-year-old Portuguese international has played a huge part in Monaco’s rise over the course of recent seasons and helped the French principality side beat Paris Saint-Germain and all their riches to the Ligue 1 title last season.
Joao Moutinho is now set for a new adventure in his career, as his contract at the Stade Louis II expires this summer, and West Ham should certainly consider making a move- particularly if they fail to hang onto Manuel Lanzini’s services.
Moutinho has the creative quality that West Ham have lacked this season and can become a leader in the side, helping to oversee the Hammers’ rise back to form.
