Pundit Ray Parlour has stated that West Ham’s poor start to the new season will not last forever and has predicted that the Hammers will put a run of positive results together soon.

The Hammers were eliminated from the Europa League at the qualifying stage and have struggled in the Premier League so far, losing three of their first four games of the new campaign.

Despite this, Parlour is confident that Slaven Bilic is the right man to take West Ham forward and has predicted that things will start to look up for the London Stadium outfit in the near future.

“They’re missing Cresswell at left-back, but it’s good that Payet is back now,” Parlour told talkSPORT.

“It’s going to be a tough season, in the new stadium. It’s going to be difficult, but Bilic is the right man and he’ll get it right. There will be an investment in January, and you can see them going on a run.”

West Ham have a trip to face West Brom in the Premier League this weekend, with the visitors hopeful of recording a victory – or at least picking up a point at The Hawthorns.

The Hammers have a number of players on the sidelines but have the required quality to make an impression if Bilic can get the right personnel on the pitch.
