Reported West Ham United transfer target Carlos Bacca has spoken out about his future, with the AC Milan hotshot admitting that Champions League football is at the forefront of his thoughts.

The Colombia international has been a sensation since moving to European football, scoring goals wherever he has played.

However, Bacca has not had the chance to prove himself on the biggest stage, with Sevilla and Milan not participating in the Champions League during his time with the respective clubs.

The South American was freescoring last season for the Rossoneri, despite his team’s poor collective performance, and as such is being touted with a move elsewhere.

West Ham are believed to be hot on Bacca’s heels, with potential for the Colombia international to be the new number nine that Slaven Bilic craves in his squad before a move to the Olympic Stadium.

The former Sevilla man has spoken out about his future ambitions and admitted that playing in the Champions League was a critical aspect in any decision he will make.

“[Playing the Champions League] is my dream and I work every day for that,” Bacca told AS.

“I want to play [in the Champions League] with Milan because I came here to do that but unfortunately we did not get that step.

“It is one of the issues that we are talking about with Milan… we’re not in Europe and I want to play the Champions League.”
