Both West Ham United and Sunderland are keen to land out-of-contract winger Jeremy Pied this summer, with France Football claiming that the Premier League pair have both made offers for the star.
The 27-year-old is a former France under-21 international and moved from Lyon to Nice back in 2012.
Pied’s contract with the Allianz Riviera outfit has now expired and as such he is free to pen a new deal with another club.
Slaven Bilic is believed to want a new winger to complement his existing options and replace Victor Moses after the Nigerian’s loan stint came to an end and he returned to Chelsea.
Pied started 33 Ligue 1 games in 2015-16 and was part of an impressive forward line alongside Hatem Ben Arfa and fellow West Ham target Alassane Plea last term.
Given that the player is available on a free transfer it could well be a shrewd move by the Hammers.
