West Ham have additional competition in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra, with The Sun stating that both Stoke City and Sunderland are both also tracking the Argentine star.

The versatile South American is not guaranteed a starting berth in Turin and as such is being linked with an exit from the Italian champions this summer.

The Hammers have been consistently linked with Pereyra over the last fortnight, with a reported tussle between Slaven Bilic’s men and the Serie A giants over a potential transfer fee.

Spurs have also been accredited with an interest in the Argentina international, with two more Premier League rivals also now added to the list of suitors.

West Ham’s need for Pereyra will surely depend on their other transfer business with the London club linked with a host of other similar players.

Should a deal for Gokhan Tore, Sofiane Feghouli or both be sealed, the Hammers may well end their interest in the Argentine star.
