West Ham United are closing in on the signing of former Chelsea player Gokhan Tore according to The Daily Mail, with Milliyet also claiming that a fee in the region of £12 million will be enough to land him from Besiktas.
Given that Slaven Bilic was in charge at the Turkish club, a host of their players are being linked with a switch to the London club in the near future.
Tore was never given a chance to prove himself at Chelsea but has proven himself as a deadly operator since leaving Stamford Bridge.
With the flying winger expected to make a splash at Euro 2016 this summer, the Hammers are believed to want to put together a deal before the tournament in France.
The Turkish report also suggests that Tore will take West Ham’s number 7 shirt, which was previously vacated by Matt Jarvis.
His arrival would revitalise Bilic’s options in the final third and offer pace and penetration.
