West Ham are worried that a bust-up between manager Slaven Bilic and striker Diafra Sakho could see the player leave the club this summer, The Sun report.

The African attacker was omitted from the Hammers squad that drew 3-3 with Arsenal on Saturday in a pulsating clash after a strange turn of events beforehand.

Sakho was reportedly annoyed that he was replaced in the home team’s starting XI by Andy Carroll, who went on to score a quick-fire hat-trick against the Gunners.

The versatile forward then claimed he had an injury and as such was not included amongst Bilic’s substitutes.

A foul-mouth message on social media followed and now there is a reported stand-off between Sakho and the team’s head coach.

The latest report suggests that West Ham are desperate to keep the gifted forward at the club and are concerned that a clash of personalities with the Croatian manager could cost them a talented player.
