West Ham midfielder Diego Poyet is reportedly unhappy that he has been frozen out at both the Boleyn Ground and at loan club Charlton Athletic, News Shopper report.

The 21-year-old moved from the Addicks to the Hammers in 2014 and is being tipped as an exciting playmaker for the future at the London club.

However, despite a number of cameos in the Premier League since moving to the Upton Park outfit, first-team chances for the Uruguay under-20’s man have been fleeting of late.

Poyet has headed back to Charlton on loan, but a change in manager has seen him largely play a fringe role at The Valley in recent times.

The latest report suggests that the Zaragoza-born schemer is feeling downhearted by his lack of football and is of the opinion that promises have been broken from the agreement West Ham had with Charlton that would see him play regularly.

Poyet is the son of former Chelsea midfielder Gus and has impressed at youth grade with his technical skills.
