West Bromwich Albion are set to take advantage of Diafra Sakho’s current situation at West Ham and make a bid for the versatile forward in the summer, according to Clubcall.

The African attacker has been the centre of attention in recent days after a foul-mouthed post on social media and his exclusion from the Hammers squad to face Arsenal on Saturday.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Sakho is carrying an injury and will not feature against Manchester United in the FA Cup tonight either.

Speculation in the press is that the Senegalese forward is set to leave the Hammers this summer after a fall-out with Bilic, with Aston Villa’s Jordan Ayew eyed as a possible replacement.

West Ham also have lofty ambitions of signing a big-name centre forward this summer before moving to the Olympic Stadium, which would push Sakho down the pecking order.

Tony Pulis is said to have made an offer for Sakho in a recent transfer window, with the Baggies set to rekindle their interest in the striker now that his future at West Ham is in doubt.
