West Ham fans have been lauding central defender Craig Dawson after the on-loan Watford man put together a superb performance as the Hammers came past Leeds United 2-0 on Monday night.
The 30-year-old was a rock at the heart of the Irons defence and scored the crucial second goal as David Moyes‘ side took another step towards qualification for Europen football next season.
Since signing from Watford at the back end of the summer transfer window, Dawson had been forced to bide his time as a well-stock defensive department started the season well.
However, injuries and absentees gave the experienced centre-back an opportunity and there was no cause for concern as Dawson has been a revelation ever since.
Following his latest monumental performance, the Irons faithful have taken to Twitter to praise their newfound hero…
