Harry Redknapp heaped praise on West Ham midfielder Mark Noble and tipped him to be a future manager of the club.

The former Hammers boss shared that the 31-year-old was the only player in the current team he could really relate to and shared that he is worth moving Heaven and Earth for to keep at the club.

Redknapp highlighted the fact he thought Noble was a West Ham boy through and through, before claiming he was a massive part of the club still.

“Noble’s the only one I really find I can relate to there, he’s a West Ham boy through and through,” Redknapp told the Daily Star.

“He’s a massive part of the club.

“Mark Noble’s the type of lad the club should move Heaven and Earth to keep him at the club.

“For me, there’s a future manager of West Ham sitting on their books right there.”

OPINION

Redknapp is clearly a fan of Noble and that should be no surprise. The experienced manager appreciated that the Hammers are in Noble’s heart and that he feels privileged to be constantly featuring for the London club. The 31-year-old had a bit of a rocky 2017/18 campaign with it seeming like age had caught up with him, but overall he has been an asset more often than not this season. Noble, who earns £50,000-a-week (Source: Spotrac), has wowed in high-profile games against the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool in order to really show how good he is. You do feel the experienced player, while a fan favourite due to wearing his heart of sleeve, is a little underappreciated by some. Noble’s presence in midfield has helped teammate Declan Rice’s meteoric rise to happen as the veteran has been there to cover the 20-year-old in case he makes a mistake. While Redknapp backs Noble to have a career in management, hopefully he is not thinking of hanging up his boots anytime soon.
