West Ham’s current board are certainly not the most popular people at the London Stadium for a number of reasons and it’s highly unlikely that they will ever be able to win over the supporters following a wealth of issues.

Fan protests this season have already shown the frustrations towards the board and many fans will be hoping that a new owner swoops in to save the day, which is why the latest reports can provide some encouragement.

West Ham World reports US billionaire Paul Allen is considering making a move to purchase the Hammers to bolster his involvement in sports, with the Microsoft founder already owning MLS franchise Seattle Sounders, NFL giants Seattle Seahawks and NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers.

It’s also claimed that Fulham owner Shadiq Khan, who made an offer to purchase Wembley Stadium recently, with it stated that he is helping to potentially sell the Hammers – and Allen would be welcomed with open arms.

Under his guidance, the Seattle Seahawks have reached the SuperBowl three times, the Sounders have become a driving force in the MLS and the Trail Blazers have reached the playoffs on 19 occasions.
