West Ham are desperately seeking to rejuvenate their attacking lines this summer, after struggling for consistency in the final third this season and seeing their current options, Jordan Hugill, Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll, all have uncertain futures at the London Stadium.

David Moyes’ side have been linked with an array of names in the market and The Chronicle now names the Hammers as one of six sides chasing the services of Newcastle United’s Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has excelled on-loan with Fulham.

The Serbia international, who’s set to lead the line for his nation at this summer’s World Cup, boasts an impressive return of ten goals in 12 starts since moving to Craven Cottage in January.

West Ham are not the only Premier League side keen on his services, with Crystal Palace and Burnley also keen, whilst on the continent Marseille, Bordeaux and Anderlecht are also looking at the possibility of signing the 23-year-old.

Newcastle signed Mitrovic in 2013 for a reported fee of £13m and would look to recoup that figure with a sale this summer.
