West Ham have pushed themselves seven points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone with a three-match unbeaten run, consisting of a victory against Southampton and two draws with Chelsea and Stoke City.

The Hammers now have their top-flight status within sight for another season, battling back from a disappointing campaign, but there’s still work to do ahead of a difficult finale that sees David Moyes’ men tackle Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United in the final five fixtures.

Therefore, West Ham will hope to have all their stars ready for action and Moyes has revealed it’s only a matter of time until Manuel Lanzini returns to the frame, as Claret & Hugh quotes him as stating:

“Manuel’s another one I think is not quite there. He had a medial ligament problem and his was more of an injury doubt. His fitness is fine but we wanted to see if his knee was okay. It’s a matter of time more than anything else.”

Lanzini had not featured for the Hammers since picking up an injury on international duty last month with Argentina but made his return with a nine minute cameo in Monday’s 1-1 draw with Stoke.
