West Ham boss David Moyes is known to be keen on bolstering his midfield ranks this summer and it seems he could reunite with a player he previously managed four years ago.

German outlet FussballEck state the Hammers are one of two Premier League sides interested in the services of Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa, with Everton also attributed with holding an interest in the Japanese international.

Capped 89 times for Japan, and set to star for the Asian side at this summer’s World Cup, Kagawa worked with Moyes previously during the pair’s time at Manchester United but he never quite found his form at Old Trafford.

Since his return to Dortmund in 2014, Kagawa has struggled for consistency but has since become a regular during Peter Stoger’s time at the club, although he has missed a large chunk of the campaign through injury.

Tied down with Dortmund until 2020, it’s stated around €13m could be enough to bring the 29-year-old back to the Premier League.
