England international Joe Hart had his finest game in two-years yesterday, making a number of crucial saves for the Hammers in a key 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The east London side moved six-points clear of the relegation zone following their draw against Antonio Conte’s team and Hart put in a Man of the Match display, providing heroics to prevent the likes of Willian, Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud from scoring.

That performance has got people talking about the World Cup hopeful once again, as he fights for a spot between the sticks for Gareth Southgate’s side at Russia this summer, but the Manchester City loanee is focusing on his club first and foremost.

Quoted by The IndependentHart said:

“Next Monday against Stoke is our game of the season now. But that’s the future, in the present we have 34 points, six ahead of the relegation zone and that’s great for us. I’m very focused on West Ham at the moment, that’s my job and that’s what I’m here to do, to fight for this team,”

“We are creating a really good spirit in the team, right the way through, from the injured boys, the boys on the bench, we stick together on and off the pitch and Chelsea was a good example of that.”

West Ham face a difficult run-in to end the season as they still have Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal still to face, increasing the importance of the game against Stoke next week.
