West Ham boss David Moyes is chasing plenty of improvements to his squad this summer as he seeks to bolster his ranks after a frustrating campaign at the London Stadium.

Plenty of names have already been linked with a move to east London and one of the more recent players to emerge as a potential candidate is Benfica’s Franco Cervi, who has courted the attention of the Hammers’ Premier League rivals Newcastle United, Swansea City and Brighton.

Now, Portuguese outlet A Bola has joined the list of those tracking the reports and have added that they have been able to clarify the interest from West Ham, although it’s stated Benfica have already turned down a number of advances for the Argentina ace.

Benfica have previously fended off interest in the 23-year-old but the reports, cited by Sport Witnessstate they could cash-in this summer if a fee of €30m is offered.
