West Ham have not yet mathematically secured their Premier League status and have work to do in their final four matches, as the Hammers seek to extend their six-point advantage over the relegation zone.

David Moyes’ side clash with champions Manchester City this weekend before finishing the season with ties against Leicester City, Manchester United and Everton, all of which will prove to be testing matches for the east London side.

Fortunately, the Hammers look set to be boosted by the return of a midfielder from injury as Claret & Hugh state Pedro Obiang is on target to take a spot on the bench against Leicester next weekend.

The Spain ace was initially stated to be out for the remainder of the season but his recovery date has been moved forward, giving Moyes the opportunity to utilise the 26-year-old in the final three matches of the campaign.

Obiang’s last appearance for West Ham came in January’s FA Cup defeat to Wigan.
