West Ham face a stern test this summer as they look to overhaul their underperforming side and the Hammers have a number of areas where they’ll look to strengthen, including the creative departments.

David Moyes’ side have struggled for consistency in the final third this season and could look to rectify those woes in the close season with a swoop for a playmaker- and they’ll be boosted by reports that one target is pushing for a move.

Luxemburger Wort state FC Metz ace Vincent Thill has decided he wants to move away from the French side, opening the door for West Ham to make a move at the end of the season.

Despite making just six first-team appearances, the 18-year-old has established himself as one of the most exciting young prospects within European football and that means West Ham could face a stern battle to secure his services.

The reports add that Italian giants Juventus already made contact with the player a few months ago and could use that relationship to push a move ahead this summer, although it’s not clear whether Thill’s initial departure from Metz will be permanent or on-loan.
