West Ham’s desire to improve their midfield options is no secret and David Moyes has been frantically searching the market for the ideal recruits ahead of the summer window.

Unfortunately, the rest of European football has the same idea and it seems to have led West Ham into a difficult battle for the chase of one target; Turkish ace Okay Yokulsu.

Reports cited by Turkish Football indicate that Sevilla tracked the young midfielder during his international side’s recent 2-2 draw with Montenegro, where Yokulsu impressed and also got his name on the scoresheet.

Interest in the defensive midfielder is high, with Leicester City and West Brom also linked with a potential move for the 24-year-old at the end of the season.

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo has added further fuel to the fire, dubbing Yokuslu the ‘new Sergio Busquets’, a claim that is certain to drum up interest in any side wanting to bolster their midfield ranks during the summer.
