Rodrigo Battaglia
The 26-year-old Argentine midfielder is a player who has been linked with a move to West Ham in recent windows, amidst reports that the Hammers have sent scouts to the continent to watch the Sporting Lisbon man in action.
Battaglia, who can also play in a more defensive midfield role, would provide the sort of boost and experience that the Hammers are looking for in the middle of the park- but a reported asking price of around €30m could prove to be problematic.
He only moved to Sporting in 2017, making 20 league appearances since, but it seems his stay at the club could be short.
