William Carvalho
A name that’s infamous amongst West Ham fans, William Carvalho was widely linked with a move to East London last summer but a transfer never materialised- and the aftermath led to a war of words between the two clubs.
Those issues have now been patched and 25-year-old Carvalho could be available once again, as long as West Ham pay the club’s asking price. Like Battaglia, he provides the boost in midfield that West Ham have been lacking.
Carvalho could raise his standing on the international stage this summer during the World Cup, where his Portugal side will look to build upon the success secured at the European Championships in 2016.
