West Ham are determined to rejuvenate their under performing side in the January transfer window but it appears that David Moyes has a plan at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have a number of targets that they’re chasing and also have a number of names within their side that they’re looking to offload this month- although, crucially, they’re not willing to sanction a deal for the sake of it.

The SunĀ claims that West Ham’s relegation rivals Newcastle United made an approach to the Hammers regarding the services of striker Diafra Sakho, who’s free to leave the London Stadium this month, but saw their advances knocked back.

28-year-old Sakho is still likely to leave East London before the closure of the January transfer window but the deal that looks most likely to happen would see the Senegalese striker reunite with former boss Sam Allardyce at Everton.

The former Hammers boss is said to be keen on signing the striker this month, despite securing a deal to sign Cenk Tosun from Besiktas last week.
