West Ham are gearing up towards the January transfer window and new boss David Moyes is likely to be on the look out for capable players to improve his underperforming side, who find themselves in the Premier League’s relegation spot.

The Hammers won just two of eleven matches under Slaven Bilic, which led to the Croatian manager getting the sack, and a massive turnaround is needed under the guidance of Moyes in the coming months.

January’s transfer window is likely to play a crucial part in West Ham’s battle for survival but, despite reports, he may find it extremely difficult to lure Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini away from Old Trafford.

Reports from the BBC indicate that contract negotiations between the Red Devils and the Belgian midfielder are continuing, with the former Everton man said to be very happy working under Jose Mourinho- which could be vital.

Suggestions of a reunion between Moyes and Fellaini have floated around ever since the Scottish manager was first linked with the position at the London Stadium but it seems unlikely that this will amount to anything.
