Signed from Hamilton during the first season of Bilic’s time at West Ham, Stephen Hendrie left on a free transfer this summer, joining Southend United on a free transfer, having failed to make a single Premier League appearance.
The left-back spent the majority of the time with the U23 side and failed to show his true potential, meaning he was quickly deemed to be surplus to requirements. Still just 22, he could turn good in his career but it won’t be with the Hammers.
