West Ham still find themselves surrounded by uncertainty following a turbulent week that saw the Hammers battle back from two-goals down to defeat Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup but then throwing away the lead against Crystal Palace.
The Hammers led 2-0 at Selhurst Park, looking on course to secure a vital three points, but a late turnaround saw the Eagles snatch a point from the game and leave Slaven Bilic’s side sat a single point above the relegation zone.
Bilic’s position was brought under threat following last week’s defeat to Brighton and he was reportedly given two games to save his job. Whilst he’s been unbeaten in those matches, the situation against Palace was far from what was desired.
