Real Betis are planning to re-sign goalkeeper Adrian from West Ham, according to El Gol Digital.

The 30 year old joined the Hammers from the Spanish side on a free transfer back in 2013, establishing himself as the club’s first choice stopper in Sam Allardyce’s side. A dip in form last season however meant current boss Slaven Bilic alternated the keeper’s first team duties with Darren Randolph.

Adrian was given a two year contract extension by the club in the summer but Joe Hart’s arrival on loan from Manchester City has curtailed his first team chances this campaign.

The Spaniard did however put some pressure on Hart with a good display in the 3-2 Carabao Cup win against Tottenham last week, but Hart was reinstated to the starting line up for the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Adrian has spoken out on a number of occasions in recent months about leaving the London Stadium, and it seems his former club Betis will be the ones to offer him a way out at the end of the season.
