After a 3-0 loss against Brighton on Friday evening, the writing appears to be on the wall for Slaven Bilic at the London Stadium and it’s difficult to see a sequence of events that leads to the Croatian manager keeping his job.
The board are said to have given Bilic the two games this week to turn things around, with the Hammers clashing with Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup before facing a crucial Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the weekend, and two defeats would surely be the final nail in the coffin.
Even if West Ham come through those games unharmed, Bilic retaining his position until the summer sees nigh impossible and it may be the right time for the board to make a change- having previously kept faith in their boss on no fewer than three occasions.
