The Spanish goalkeeper spoke earlier this week about his desire to leave, due to a significant lack of first-team opportunities over the course of the past 18 months, and West Ham would be wise to listen to his wishes rather than risk problems behind the scenes.
Losing Adrian would be a bitter blow, particularly as there is no guarantee that Joe Hart will remain at the club beyond this season, and the Hammers would certainly have to make a move for a replacement to play understudy to the Manchester City-owned man.
