Joe Hart is close to securing a season long loan move to West Ham United, says The Telegraph.

The England goalkeeper was frozen out of Manchester City last summer by manager Pep Guardiola, and after spending the season on-loan at Serie A side Torino, Hart is looking to revitalise his career in England away from the Etihad Stadium.

The 30-year-old has been told he is free to leave the club after the Sky Blues signed Benfica keeper Ederson in a world record deal, and Slaven Bilic is understood to be offering him an escape route in the form of a 12-month loan deal.

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs, and although City were initially reluctant to sanction a temporary deal, the situation has progressed over the last 24 hours. Should the deal be a success, it is thought there will an option for West Ham to sign the Englishman on a permanent move next summer.
