If there’s one man in the West Ham squad that has really caught the imagination of supporters and opposing onlookers alike, it’s Dimitri Payet.
The Frenchman was signed by Slaven Bilic at the beginning of 2015/16 with few knowing much about him but that did not last long.
The former Marseille man soon went about racking up the man of the match awards putting in fine individual displays as well as working with his team-mates perfectly as the Hammers had a storming season last time out.
He would go onto perform well at EURO 2016 with a great goal against Romania in the groups. The French would go onto reach the final which they eventually lost but Payet had once again left his mark.
