When you think of the biggest names associated with West Ham, three names are going to come to mind more often than not.
Geoff Hurst, Bobby Moore and Martin Peters. Three West Ham legends and, of course, three huge names in the history of English football.
It was that trio on which a lot of the World Cup success was built as the three joined forces with the likes of Manchester United’s Bobby Charlton to help deliver England’s greatest, still, moment in the game.
Those three rightly deserve their accolades but that isn’t to say they are the only great footballing figures to come out of the east London side.
Indeed, it’s not just players that capture the attention of Hammers fans, they’ve had plenty of top managers too over the years.
