Southampton might have something to say about this but the Hammers shouldn’t let that put them off if they want to sign him. In Aaron Cresswell the Hammers already have a promising left sided defender and signing Targett would surely ensure that both spur one another on to improve. Targett is definitely one for the future and the Hammers would be pulling off a big coup if they signed him.
