West Ham striker Jonathan Calleri could be set to depart the club in the January transfer window after a disappointing loan spell, according to calciomercato.com. The forward is on a season long loan until the end of the season but Hammers could cut his time in London short.

The Italian website say the West Ham are “not happy” with the 23 year old’s performances since his arrival from Deportivo Maldonado in August, and he has not scored in nine appearances this season.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has not started Calleri in any league match this campaign and the Argentinian has started just three matches in total, all coming in cup competitions, either in the Europa League or the EFL Cup.

Calleri was not included in the squad for the match against Everton at the weekend and instead played for West Ham’s Under 23 side against West Bromwich Albion in the 2-1 win on Monday night.
