West Ham United are ready to ban troublesome or violent supporters for life if evidence against those accused of causing a raucous against Watford can be compiled, according to The Telegraph.

The Hammers were thoroughly beaten on the pitch against the Hornets, throwing away a two-goal lead to lose to Walter Mazzarri’s men 4-2.

This was compounded by ugly scenes on the terraces, with a section of West Ham fans getting involved with their Watford equivalents and factions breaking out between Hammers supporters.

With the increase in CCTV footage and technology, the east London club are now examining the information to find the troublemakers and kick them out for good.

The unsavoury incidents follow in the wake of West Ham fans attacking the Manchester United team bus at the tail end of last season, with the club’s supporters building a negative reputation across England.

With the summer move to the London Stadium, the controversy takes away from the club’s sublime new home.
