West Ham United chairman David Gold has urged the club’s fans to stay positive despite another harrowing defeat at the weekend.
It has been a nightmare beginning to 2016-17 for the London club, with four losses from the first five games for Slaven Bilic’s men.
Not only have the results not been good, the nature of the performances in losing to the likes of Watford and West Brom in recent weeks have cut to the core of the club.
After a summer of expenditure in the transfer market and a move to the London Stadium, it was expected that Bilic’s side would be a tough proposition this season.
It’s not good at the moment but we must remain strong no new injuries today and 5 players coming back from long term injury soon. dg

However, with the exception of Bournemouth, who were beaten 1-0, West Ham have been willing opposition to the rest of the Premier League so far.
As can be seen above, Gold is counting down the days until the Croatian coach has a full available contingent and is urging the supporter base to stay as upbeat as they can.
