West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has talked up striker signing Simone Zaza, stating that the Italian forward has all the attributes to be major weapon for the Hammers in the Premier League.
The London Stadium outfit were in the market for reinforcements in the final third all summer long and signed the Juventus attacker on a season-long loan deal late in the window.
Zaza could well make his debut for his new club this weekend as West Ham face Watford, with the London outfit’s supporters keen to see their new signing in action.
The former Sassuolo striker has an impressive record of scoring goals in his homeland and Bilic will be keen for this to be replicated in England.
The Croatian manager has stated that Zaza will be a handful for opposition rearguards this term and could be a major player for his temporary employers.
“He’s still young, hungry, great left foot, goalscorer, bit of that drive and positive wildness on the pitch that is very important for the team, the crowd,” Bilic told the club’s official website.
With Andy Carroll currently injured and Enner Valencia loaned to Everton, Zaza’s addition was key for West Ham.
