West Ham United are willing to sell out-of-favour midfielder Pedro Obiang but are asking for a fee in the €7.8 million (£6.75 million) region, according to Tuttosport.

The Spanish star has not made much of an impact in the 12 months that he has been in London and not lived up to the potential he showed in his Sampdoria days.

With the acquisition of Havard Nordtveit this summer to add to Slaven Bilic’s options in the centre of midfield, Obiang is expected to play a bit-part role for the Clarets in 2016-17.

The latest report suggests that Fiorentina have had an offer in the £5 million region rejected by the Premier League club but that West Ham are open to negotiation.

Bilic’s men are in a position of power given that Torino are now listed as a fellow suitor and are reportedly ready to launch an offer for Obiang also.
