West Ham Untied have been linked with a spectacular loan move for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to The Express.
The Hammers have toiled all summer long to bring in attacking players of note, with Andre Ayew signed for a club record fee and Jonathan Calleri joining on a season-long loan.
However, with the Ghana international set to be on the sidelines for a number of months, Slaven Bilic has seen his options in the final third take a hit.
Bony was a sensation at Swansea City but has been a fringe player at City, largely due to the presence of hotshot forward Sergio Aguero.
The Ivory Coast international is being linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium but as yet no suitor has matched City’s valuation of the African forward.
The latest development states that West Ham could well make a move to land Bony on loan.
