West Ham United are being forced to wait for another attacking transfer target, with Swansea City delaying a decision on Andre Ayew’s future according to Ghana Soccernet.

The Hammers are said to have lodged a £20 million offer for the skilful and dynamic African forward as Slaven Bilic looks to add to his options in the final third.

West Ham have failed to land a number of high-profile strikers since the summer began but are thought to rate Ayew as a player that can take the ambitious club to the next level.

The former Marseille man put in some stunning performances for Swansea in his first season in the Premier League and is highly rated at the Liberty Stadium.

However, Ayew has been linked with other domestic rivals all summer long and it is believed that the attacker fancies a switch elsewhere.

West Ham will hope that Swansea accept their offer, but as yet there has been no decision and the Hammers may well have to wait for Francesco Guidolin’s men to act.
