West Ham United have confirmed on their official website that Andre Ayew has joined the east London side for a club-record fee, while left-back Arthur Masuaku has also become a Hammer.

Slaven Bilic’s men have been tracking Ghana international Ayew for some time, with his switch to the London Stadium finally being completed on Monday.

The African attacker will give the Clarets an extra option in the final third, as the former Marseille forward can play anywhere across the forward line.

The hunt for a deputy for the injured Aaron Cresswell has also come to an end, with Masuaku reportedly joining for a fee in the £6 million region.

The French full-back has plenty of Champions League experience having stepped out for Olympiakos in Europe’s top tournament and is notable for his exploits on the front foot.

The pair are both expected to be in contention to start West Ham’s opening game of the Premier League season this weekend.
