West Ham United will have to buy Simone Zaza from Juventus outright if they want him, with the striker’s father stating that the Italy international will not go out on loan if he leaves the Turin giants.

The Hammers are in the market for a new centre-forward following injuries to Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew, with a major new face seemingly likely to arrive at the London Stadium before the end of August.

Slaven Bilic has admitted that he is interested in Zaza, who has found first-team football hard to come by with the Bianconeri.

A host of clubs are being linked with a move for the former Sassuolo centre-forward, who boasts a good scoring record in his homeland.

Antonio Zaza has been talking about West Ham’s interest in his son and has admitted that there could be a deal to bring the striker to the Premier League.

“West Ham have been following him for a long time, it’s a great club but I have to stress one thing: if Simone leaves Juventus, he’ll only do it outright,” he told Calcio Mercato.

“We’re not going to accept a loan.”

West Ham are also being linked with Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony.
