West Ham United are being linked with a move to sign Inter Milan forward Eder, with Calcio Mercato Web stating that the London club are on the 29-year-old’s case.

The Hammers have seen approaches for a number of high-profile strikers run aground, with Slaven Bilic’s priority before the new season being a new prolific attacker to lead the line at the Olympic Stadium.

Eder featured for Italy during Euro 2016 and impressed alongside Graziano Pelle in the Azzurri’s attack.

The Brazil-born striker is currently on Inter’s books after the Serie A giants bought him from Sampdoria in January.

Not guaranteed a starting berth in the Nerazzurri’s team, Eder has scored only one Serie A goal since moving to Inter but has a more impressive record at previous teams.

Eder captured the imagination with the only goal of the game as Italy defeated Sweden in the group stages of Euro 2016, scoring with a spectacular solo effort.
