West Ham United could well end up playing their home games at the Tesco Stadium after the supermarket chain entered the battle to win naming rights for the London Stadium, according to The Daily Mail.

The Hammers have left Upton Park and moved to their new home this summer, which will be ready for the visit of Bournemouth once the new campaign begins next month.

It is widely expected that Slaven Bilic’s men will look to raise some more revenue by selling the naming rights to their ground, as a host of their Premier League rivals have also done.

However, with no deal in place as yet, Tesco are eyeing up a potential bid to have their branding and name attached to West Ham’s sparkling new stadium.

Other Premier League home grounds with branding include the likes of the Emirates and Etihad Stadiums, but Tesco would surely be slightly less illustrious in its appearance.
