Carlos Bacca’s agent has spoken out about his client’s club future amid talk in Italy that Napoli could swoop for the West Ham United target.

The Hammers are believed to have had an offer for the Colombian accepted by AC Milan for their number nine, with the South American still undecided over a potential switch to east London.

Bacca is believed to be stalling as he is keen to play Champions League football next season – something that Slaven Bilic’s men cannot offer him.

Napoli are fresh from selling their main attacking weapon Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus for £75 million and as such are cash-rich and in the market for a replacement.

Despite the links, Sergio Barila has remained relatively tight lipped on the potential for Bacca moving to the Stadio San Paolo to lead the Naples-based outfit’s forward line.

“The deal with Napoli is one on which we are awaiting developments,” he told Radio Goal, as reported by Calcio Mercato.

“I cannot say more.”

West Ham may well need to end their interest in Bacca and look to other targets if a decision is not made by the former Sevilla attacker soon.
