Both Manchester City and Manchester United are keeping tabs on West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna and want to add him to their respective squads this summer, according to Sport Witness, who tout Tuttosport as a source.

The no-nonsense centre-half has excelled since moving to the London club from Juventus last summer and has formed a solid partnership at the back with fellow man mountain Winston Reid.

Ogbonna has been included in Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament in France, in a testament to how highly he is rated in his homeland.

The former Torino stopper is reportedly in the sights of both of the Manchester clubs however, who are keen to add to their defensive ranks before next term.

West Ham have already stated that they will not sell any of the club’s key players this summer and as such a tug-of-war could well ensue for Ogbonna’s services.
