West Ham United have been linked with making a move for Arsenal’s Mathieu Debuchy this summer, with Mercato 365 claiming that the Hammers are after the France international.

The experienced full-back moved to the Emirates Stadium to replace Bacary Sagna, but has lost his starting berth at the North London club since the emergence of Hector Bellerin.

With first-team football a commodity with Arsene Wenger’s men, Debuchy spent the second half of the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Bordeaux and is widely expected to leave Arsenal this summer.

Right-back is an area that West Ham are looking to bolster, with winger Michail Antonio forced to play in the role for the second half of the campaign.

The former Newcastle man has plenty of experience and represented France at the World Cup two years ago, but has lacked regular Premier League action in the last 18 months.

He is expected to be available at cut price.
