West Ham United and Tottenham are both interested in Venezuelan striker Adalberto Penaranda according to Mundo Deportivo, who is currently on Watford’s books.

The 18-year-old is caught up in the triangle between Udinese, Granada and the Hornets – the three affiliated clubs owned by the Pozzo family.

Penaranda impressed in his homeland and for Venezuela’s under-17’s side and as such moved to Udinese in 2015.

His ownership was changed to Watford’s books earlier this year but he has spent time on loan in Spain with Granada.

The latest report suggests that scouts from both the Hammers and Spurs have taken in Penaranda’s performances in La Liga this season and have come back with glistening reviews of his performances.

It states that both London clubs are ready to try and snatch the South American away from their Premier League rivals this summer, with the teenager’s stock rising as he has made his senior international debut recently also.
