West Ham United have been linked with a move for Besiktas midfielder Veli Kavlak by Milliyet, but the Austrian star has stated that he is not thinking about leaving the Turkish club.

Everton are also believed to be interested in the 27-year-old, who looks set to star for an under-rated Austria side at Euro 2016 next month.

Kavlak has been on Besiktas’ books since 2011 and plays as a defensive midfielder for the Turkish side.

Slaven Bilic knows the player well from his time at the club and is said to be eyeing up a host of his former charges as West Ham targets this summer.

Despite talk of a move to England, Kavlak has poured cold water on leaving Besiktas by stating that he is motivated to achieve more success with his current club.

“I want to win the league again with Besiktas next season we have not discussed severing ties,” he told Fotospor.

West Ham are set to send Alex Song back to Barcelona and as such are in the market for a new central midfielder.
